Doodle War
A hand-drawn crowd runner across 100 notebook levels. Steer an auto-firing stick-figure squad through troop, multiplier, weapon and shootable gates, dodge hazards, collect powers, buy session upgrades and defeat four escalating doodle bosses.
Run, steer and keep the squad alive
Your stick-figure squad runs and fires automatically. Drag left or right to steer on touch or with a mouse. On a keyboard, use the Left and Right arrows or A and D. Choose a lane before each gate, line up shots on obstacles and protect at least one troop all the way to the boss.
Read every gate
Gates apply as soon as the squad crosses them. Green arithmetic grows the crowd, red arithmetic shrinks it, and GUN gates improve the weapon. The shootable gate is different: bullets change its number before you arrive, so stay lined up long enough to turn a penalty into a reward.
Break it or dodge it
Most road threats can be weakened by concentrated fire, but not every obstacle should be challenged. Move early so the whole crowd clears the danger instead of clipping it at the last moment.
Temporary powers
A Shield blocks the next event that would remove troops. Giant Mode lasts five seconds, prevents troop loss and smashes through enemy groups and walls. The Coin Magnet lasts seven seconds and pulls nearby road coins into the squad.
Seven weapons
Weapon upgrades move through Pencil Pistol, Doodle Uzi, Crayon Shotgun, Marker SMG, Sketch Rifle, Ink Minigun and Golden Crayon. Stronger weapons clear threats sooner and shorten every boss fight.
Four boss attacks
Watch the road for each boss's signature attack cue. These symbols show the danger to react to, not the boss's body.
The 100-page campaign
A win awards the coins found on the road plus ten times the level number and one more coin for each surviving troop. The next level unlocks, while cleared and current levels remain selectable on the map. Spend coins in the supply shop on up to ten Bigger Squad upgrades, seven Sharper Pencils damage upgrades and four Head Start weapon upgrades. Bigger Squad begins with a five-troop boost, then grows through increasingly expensive tiers until the final rank adds two hundred starting troops.
Tips
- Grow the crowd before taking an x2 gate whenever the road order allows it.
- Line up early on a shootable gate, then move only after its number is safely green.
- Do not spend a large squad fighting spikes. They are always a steering test.
- Save a shield for a boss attack when the road before the arena is already clear.
- Against the Eraser King, react to the side warning first and resume aiming after the sweep.
